August has arrived, and we’re rolling out the red carpet for International Dog Month here at Betty & Butch! This special month is all about celebrating the health and happiness of our beloved dogs, and we’re excited to embark on a month-long journey focused on ensuring your dog leads a vibrant and joyful life.
Our Theme: Pawsitively Healthy
This August, our theme is “Pawsitively Healthy: Celebrating Wellness and Joy with Your Dog.” Our mission is simple: to help you keep your dog happy and healthy with expert tips, top-quality products, and a touch of fun along the way.
What’s in Store for You?
We’ve organised the month into weekly themes, each highlighting an essential aspect of dog wellness:
- Nutritional Wellness: Learn about the benefits of a balanced diet for your dog. We’ll offer tips on proper nutrition, showcase our range of healthy foods and treats, and provide special discounts.
- Physical Wellness: Discover the importance of keeping your dog active with ideas for exercise, interactive toys, and even a DIY obstacle course to engage both mind and body.
- Mental Wellness: Challenge your dog’s mind with puzzle feeders and relaxation techniques. We’ll also host a dog-friendly meditation session to help your pet relax and unwind.
- Celebrating the Human-Dog Bond: Reflect on the joy and benefits of having a dog in your life, and learn about how dogs enhance our well-being. We’ll also take a moment to thank you, our amazing dog-loving community.
Exciting Events and Competitions
To make this month even more special, we’ve lined up some exciting events and competitions:
- Healthy Treat Tasting Event: Bring your dog in for a tasting session of our nutritious treats
- Dog Walks: Join us for our on off our dog walks or organise one in your own area to get involved. Don’t forget to send us pics so we can share
- Photo Contest In-store: Snap a photo of your dog during your visit for a chance to win a treat hamper worth £30. The winner will be announced on our social media at the end of the month.
- Photo Contest Social Media: Post a photo of your dog with a caption and most importantly add us by using @bettyandbutch so we can add you to the draw. You can enter as often as you like but only use one tag for a chance to win a treat hamper worth £30. The winner will be announced on our social media at the end of the month.
