"Golden retriever sitting in a cozy kitchen watching homemade dog treats being prepared with natural ingredients like banana, peanut butter, and oat flour on the counter.

If your dog had a love language, we’re willing to bet it would be treats. And what better way to show your furry friend some love than by baking something just for them?

Today we’re sharing a special one-time recipe to celebrate treat time in a whole new way. It’s easy, fun, and packed with wholesome ingredients your dog will adore—because sometimes, the treat is the moment. 🐾💫

🧁 Recipe: Peanut Butter & Banana Paw Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana (mashed)

  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (make sure it doesn’t contain xylitol!)

  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour (or blend rolled oats into a powder)

  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix mashed banana, peanut butter, and coconut oil.

  3. Gradually stir in oat flour until dough forms.

  4. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters (paw prints, bones, hearts—you name it).

  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and slightly firm.

  6. Let them cool... if your dog can wait that long.

💡 Pro Tips:

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week, or freeze for longer freshness.

  • For training, cut into smaller bites.

  • Want to go fancy? Add a tiny dash of cinnamon or turmeric for extra benefits!
