Made from responsibly sourced from Red Deer, Split Deer Antlers Dog Chews are suitable for dogs who can not quite get through a full antler. The smaller-sized split antlers are even suitable for puppies to help with teething pain, fulfilling their teething instincts and helping to aid teeth out.
The split allows easy access for dogs to get to the honeycombed 'inside' of the antler that is kinder on teeth and jaws. You can also smear them with your dog’s favourite Meatlove product or liver paste for added taste and then cling film so the treat really soaks into the bone.
Great for dogs who are just starting off on Deer Antlers, they are low in fat, long-lasting and even provide an excellent source of vitamins and minerals that supports your dog’s health and nutrition.
Measurements
Small (25-50g) - Puppies from 12 weeks
Medium (51-80g)
Large (81-120g)
Extra Large (121-160g)
Guidelines
Feed as a reward or treat as part of a balanced diet and always ensure a bowl of fresh water is available.
Complementary dog treat. Not for human consumption.
Smaller antler is suitable for puppies over 12 weeks old.
All sharp points have been removed.
As a rule of thumb, if your dog is able to fit the whole antler in its mouth, then it’s too small and not recommended because it can become a choking hazard. When the antler has become small enough to fit in their mouth, it should be thrown away.
We strongly recommend that all dogs of any age are supervised while eating treats/deli items.
If you are in any doubt about age restrictions, please contact us via info@bettyandbutch.co.uk or use the live chat facility on our website.
